Experienced project coordinator for the management of research projects at the CHIP research unit at Rigshospitalet
We are looking for a full-time project coordinator to join us by 01 March, 2020 or as soon as possible. We offer a challenging and meaningful position in an exciting and inspiring international research environment.
About us
CHIP is a research unit that serves as an international coordination center for a wide range of infectious medicine projects involving patients with acute and chronic infections, e.g. hepatitis, HIV, influenza etc. CHIP is part of the Infectious Medicine Clinic under the Center for Heart, Cardiovascular, Lung and Infectious Diseases at Rigshospitalet. We are a group of 70 full-time employees with satellite functions in Germany, Spain and the UK. Our working languages are Danish and English.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for pre- and post-award administration of research grants - from the proposal phase to financial overview and reporting:
• support for preparation of project proposals including preparation of
budgets
• financial controller tasks for defined projects
• financial reporting to funding agencies (primarily EU and National
Institutes of Health) as well as support to the scientific reporting
• overview of project deadlines, reporting processes and grant rules
• contribute to the development of systems for a better overview of project
finances
• participate in the administrative collaboration with CHIP's many
international partners and Rigshospitalet
About you
We expect that you
• have a relevant academic degree (Master/postgraduate level)
• have 5-10 years of experience in project administration (incl. finances)
• are an Excel super user
• are independent and confident, with good collaborative skills
• have strong analytical skills, with focus on detail and structure
• have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• are experienced in application- and reporting processes for EU and other
grants
In addition, it is an advantage if you have working experience from a medical research or health care environment
Salary and employment conditions
The position is a full-time academic employment (37 hours per week) beginning 01 March 2020 or as soon as possible.
Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the applicable agreement between Region H and “Akademikerne” - The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The position is financed by research funding.
You will be employed by Region H. The place of work is CHIP, Dept. of Infectious Diseases, Rigshospitalet with reference to the Director of Research Coordination.
