Postdoctoral position: Are you our new colleague in non-invasive imaging research?
We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated candidate to contribute to non-invasive imaging research, emphasizing the application of optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. OCT can provide skin images with cellular resolution and visualize microvasculature to identify different tumor stages. The goal is to address the barriers currently limiting clinical uptake of OCT. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in imaging techniques and data analysis. You will become a valuable member of our research group, which comprises scientists with diverse backgrounds, technician and nurses, engaging in exciting and innovative projects within a dynamic research environment.
The Danish Research Center for Skin Cancer (www.reskca.org) is a private-public research partnership between the Private Hospital Molholm, Aalborg University Hospital, and Bispebjerg Hospital. As a postdoc, you will be integrated in close collaboration with the research center, which also funds the position. The physical workplace will be at the Dermatological Department, Bispebjerg Hospital. The center is undergoing exciting development with the involvement of numerous professional experts and 25 active research projects currently in progress. In this postdoctoral position, you will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative community, working alongside diverse colleagues with various skills and responsibilities.
In this role, you will assume a dynamic position involving imaging techniques across multiple research projects. You will have the opportunity to actively influence the optimal execution of project setup and the development of procedures. Joining an engaging job within an informal work environment, you will foster high-level collaboration with skilled, supportive colleagues of all ages and diverse educational backgrounds. The position encompasses routine tasks alongside varied developmental assignments. A thorough and comprehensive training plan will be provided.
