1-year fixed-term position, Research Assistant with biomedical engineering training

The Department of Cardiology at Rigshospitalet is seeking a Research Assistant with biomedical engineering training for a 1-year fixed-term position within our clinical research group for interventional cardiology.

The position is linked to ongoing clinical research projects within coronary cardiovascular disease and involves collaboration with senior researchers and research staff in the department.

The relevant projects include improvement and development of automation of coronary CT analysis and patient-specific physiological simulation.

Responsibilities

• Participation in ongoing clinical research projects
• Data management and analysis
• Technical and methodological support
• Contribution to study documentation and scientific publications

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• Interest in clinical research
• Strong analytical competencies
• Proficiency in English

The position is intended for an early-career candidate. Subject to funding and academic approval, continuation as a PhD fellow may be possible.

Short description of educational requirements

Completed Master’s degree (cand.polyt., cand.scient. or equivalent) in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical/scientific discipline. The position does not require a PhD degree.
