The dedicated 7-bed tertiary referral cardiology intensive care unit provides care for critically ill patients with all forms of heart disease. The staff comprises 45 intensive care nurses, a clinical nurse specialist, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, a secretary, and three consultant cardiologists, including a clinical professor.
